What is RPSC RAS Exam City 2026?
The RPSC RAS Exam City refers to the specific district and location where a candidate will appear for the examination. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) releases this information separately for both the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. All applicants who have successfully submitted their forms can check their allotted center on the official recruitment portal.
This intimation slip is provided in advance so that students can plan their travel and accommodation without any last-minute rush. It clearly mentions the city and district assigned to each candidate based on administrative arrangements.
Exam City for Prelims and Mains
- Preliminary Examination: The city slip for the Prelims is released a few days before the objective test. It helps candidates reach the correct center for the screening round.
- Main Examination: A separate city slip is released later for the descriptive Mains exam. Since the Mains exam is held in fewer centers (usually major cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Kota), it is crucial to check this slip carefully to plan your stay.
How RPSC Allocates Exam Districts
The RPSC conducts the RAS exams in various districts across Rajasthan to manage the large number of applicants efficiently. The commission assigns exam centers based on availability and logistical planning.
Each candidate may get a different district depending on these arrangements. Once the city slip is released, you can see exactly which district has been assigned to you. This system helps the commission conduct the exam smoothly throughout the state while ensuring convenience for most students.
Information on the RPSC RAS City Slip 2026
The Exam City Intimation Slip contains essential details required for your exam day planning. Here is what you will find on the slip:
- Candidate Name
- Application Number
- Allotted Exam District
- Specific Exam City
- Shift Timing (for Prelims)
- Reporting Instructions
You can view these details by logging into the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal with your application credentials. Make sure to keep this information handy for your journey to both the Prelims and Mains centers.
Why the RPSC RAS City Slip Matters
Getting your exam city details early is a big advantage for every aspirant. It allows you to book your travel tickets and hotel rooms at reasonable prices before the last-minute rush. Since the Preliminary Exam centers are spread across many districts, while the Mains Exam is usually held in only a few major cities, knowing your location helps you plan your stay accordingly. This advance information reduces stress and ensures you reach the exam hall on time without any confusion.
Key Locations for RAS Exams
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission selects exam centers in well-connected districts with good educational infrastructure. While the final allocation depends on administrative decisions, candidates are often allotted centers in major hubs such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Bikaner. Other districts like Alwar, Sikar, and Bharatpur also frequently host these large-scale examinations. The specific center for your attempt will be clearly stated in your official intimation slip.
Solving Common Login Problems
Sometimes candidates face technical issues while trying to view their exam city. If you cannot find your application number, check the confirmation email or SMS sent by RPSC during registration. Always enter your date of birth exactly as it was filled in the application form to avoid mismatches. If the recruitment portal is slow or not loading, try accessing it during off-peak hours or switch to the SSO Rajasthan portal for a smoother experience. Clearing your browser cache or using a different internet connection can also help if the page fails to load properly.
